Dwight Ho-SangSenior Partnerships Manager, Subject
Dwight Ho-Sang is a senior partnerships manager at Subject. Dwight comes to Subject with 20 years of experience in public education. After graduating from Williams College, Dwight began his career as a Teach for America corps member in Metro Atlanta. He later joined KIPP Metro Atlanta, where he served as a teacher and school leader. Before joining Subject, he served as deputy head of schools for KIPP Metro Atlanta, responsible for coaching and managing principals. Dwight is excited to continue expanding his educational impact by providing access to rigorous and engaging content to students across the county. Dwight also holds master’s degrees in urban teacher leadership and educational leadership.
Brooke NelsonSenior Academics Manager, Subject
Brooke Nelson is senior academics manager at Subject. Brooke holds a doctorate from Claremont Graduate School and dual master’s degrees from the University of California and the University of Edinburgh. She brings over a decade of experience in curriculum development and classroom instruction to this role, most of which focused on bridging educational equity gaps in underserved communities of color.
Michael VilardoFounder, Subject
Michael Vilardo is a founder at Subject. Michael is an ex-athlete turned serial entrepreneur. After playing division 1 baseball at UPenn and Purdue University, as well as ice hockey for the USA U18 and Colombian Men’s National Teams, Michael became obsessed with hyper growth tech startups that drove social impact. After launching both Uber Freight and Uber New Mobility, helping Uber go public in 2019, Michael dove full-time into launching his own startups. Founded in 2020, Subject is the Netflix of Education, bringing the cinematic excellence from Hollywood to academically accredited courses. Michael has a B.A. in philosophy, politics, & economics from UPenn, and an M.B.A. from UCLA.
