SUMMARY

Prince Avenue Christian School (PACS) is a ministry of Prince Avenue Baptist Church (PABC), and the faculty and staff’s conduct reflect on the church and school. Therefore, this employee agrees to conduct herself or himself in a Godly manner at all times and be under the authority of the school administration and PABC and abide by the policies and statement of faith thereof.

 

OVERVIEW

To support and encourage academic development of the high school student population while specifically serving 9th and 10th grades. Must possess the ability to collaborate effectively with other school staff members, coordinate all school standardized testing, as well as perform other school responsibilities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Scheduling and Academic Counseling for all 9th and 10th students and families.
  • Budgeting and ordering middle school and high school curriculum
  • Coordinate all high school online classes
  • Organize, plan and administer all schoolwide testing programs including: PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT8/9, Pre ACT, District ACT and SAT, AP and Spring standardized testing K-9th
  • Organize May and December high school exams
  • Summer work -manage online classes, order books to ensure all middle and high school teachers have enough books for every class as well as all teacher resources, meet with new students/families and prepare for new year
  • Other various duties

 

 

Qualifications

  • A committed Christian who is active in an evangelical church ministry.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with parents, students, coworkers, and the general public regardless of race, age, sex, disability, or political affiliation.
  • Be competent in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
