Tallulah Falls School is seeking a Chief Financial Officer; this position will be filled after a comprehensive national search and the selection of a highly qualified candidate. 

This top-tier position will be available in the spring of 2022, to allow for a smooth transition prior to the end of the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2022. This opportunity is open due to the planned retirement of a long-time employee in this role. 

Founded in 1909, Tallulah Falls School is an independent, co-educational boarding and day school serving more than 550 students in grades 5-12, located on two campuses.

The CFO will lead a Business Office team providing service to more than 550 students, including 130 boarding students from 21 countries, 150 employees and close to 1,000 parents/guardians.

The school’s 500-acre campus is located in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains in Northeast Georgia, 90 miles from metro Atlanta.

Overseeing an annual budget of $21,000,000 the ideal candidate will report directly to a seasoned President and Head of School. With the support of an engaged board of trustees and a dynamic senior leadership team, this person will elevate the department overseeing business operations and human resources to set a fresh tone for current and future growth. This goal-oriented senior leader will embrace the culture and values of the institution and will work collaboratively to support and lead an innovative institution with high standards and expectations.

An integral member of the school’s leadership team and a strategic thought partner to the President and Head of School, the Chief Financial Officer will work closely with him to provide integrated financial systems management
