Reporting to the Head of School and serving as a member of the senior leadership team, the Director of Enrollment oversees all aspects of admissions, school marketing, enrollment management, and financial aid. This is a full-time 12-month position.



  • Manage mission-appropriate student selection, enrollment, and retention
  • Formulate tactical and strategic actions to fully enroll the school
  • Represent the school to current and prospective students, parents, and the community
  • Market the school to prospective students and parents
  • Analyze and report on enrollment, matriculation, diversity, and attrition trends
  • Work with volunteer parents, former parents, and alumni to recruit new students
  • Work with the Director of Finance and Operations to administer financial aid
  • Supervise the Associate Director of Admissions and parent admissions volunteers
  • Collaborate with the Director of Communications to implement the school’s marketing and communications plan
  • Maintain close relationships with feeder schools
  • Maintain a presence in the larger Charlotte marketplace and represent the school at community events

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
  • At least five years of relevant independent school experience, with strong preference given to an experienced independent school admissions professional
