The Epiphany School of Global Studies, located in New Bern, North Carolina, seeks an elementary grades Spanish immersion teacher for a full-time position.

Successful Candidates will:

Have a high level of comfort working in an independent school setting that allows for innovative teaching, curricular design input, and collaboration with a professional team of educators.

Demonstrated native proficiency in Spanish

Instruct students in reading, writing, word work, language mechanics, and grammar in a Spanish immersion setting.

Have knowledge of literacy skills in a workshop structure.

Have in-depth working knowledge of how to use assessment tools and develop data-driven instruction.

Possess strong Spanish and English communication skills, both written and oral, and engaging interpersonal skills.

Fully embrace the school’s mission and engage their students using instructional methods that are positive, innovative, appropriate, relevant, and reflective.

Integrate technology, a global focus, elicit critical thinking, and challenge students to continue discovery beyond the classroom.

Special Skills:

Must be completely bilingual (Speaking and Writing) in both English and Spanish
