Palisades Episcopal School is a school honoring Christ and committed to providing a classical education challenging the mind, body and spirit. We are located in the Palisades community in southwest Mecklenburg County in Charlotte, North Carolina. Our 9-acre campus provides students with multipurpose classrooms, an indoor recreation center, outdoor learning and recreational spaces, and community enrichment activities such as golf, tennis, equestrian and swimming. Palisades Episcopal School serves students in JK – 8th grade where we cultivate a joyful love of learning. The Position:

Palisades Episcopal School is seeking a dynamic, creative and versatile Lower School teacher for the 2021-22 school year. Essential characteristics include a love of children, flexibility, good classroom management skills, the ability to work with others, a good sense of humor, a positive attitude and a knowledge of educational trends. We are looking for someone who is excited to become part of our community and enjoys and understands young learners. The ideal candidate will convey a joyful love of learning and instill in our students a curiosity about our world and the desire to apply what they learn to other disciplines and the world around them.

Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with students, colleagues and parents
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
