The Harpeth Hall School seeks a middle school math teacher. We are looking for a teacher who demonstrates excellence in the classroom, supports educational and leadership opportunities for girls, encourages students to stretch their minds and expand their sense of self and enjoys working collaboratively with an engaged group of colleagues. The position is full-time and exempt.

The ideal candidate is an experienced educator capable of teaching various levels of middle school math. Our middle school team is seeking an innovative teacher who understands the best possible way to engage and inspire middle-school-age girls. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, colleagues, and families, both orally and in writing, is essential. Professionalism, a positive outlook, a good sense of humor, and a student-centered approach to middle school teaching are also highly valued.

A bachelor’s degree is required. Experience in curriculum development, full-time teaching experience, and a master’s degree are preferred. Comfort and familiarity with the use of relevant technology to enhance learning are also essential.
