Harpeth Hall seeks an innovative, dynamic, creative, and collaborative educator as its next theatre teacher, beginning in the 2022-23 school year. The ideal candidate has experience teaching, directing, and acting as well as passion for a diverse range of theatre productions. The theatre teacher will support and promote a strong theatre program within the context of a robust academic and performing arts program. An ability to promote and implement best practices in theatre education for grades 8-12 and collaborate with all areas of the performing arts program are essential.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator capable of teaching various levels of theatre courses as well as directing school performances.

A bachelor’s degree is required. Full-time teaching experience  and a master’s degree are preferred. Comfort and familiarity with the use of relevant technology to enhance learning are also essential.
