We are excited to share the appointment of Amber Irizarry, director of brand & communications. Beginning May 1, Amber will serve as the primary storyteller, amplifying the impact of member schools in our association.
Amber experienced a long-standing communications career in the nonprofit space, most recently with Mount Paran Christian School (SAIS member) and previously with the Georgia Society of Association Executives. Throughout her 20+ year career, she has authored and helped produce an award-winning portfolio of digital and print magazines, annual reports, newsletters, and fundraising campaigns. Additionally, she received her bachelor’s degree from University of North Georgia, master’s from Georgia State, and a graduate certificate from Harvard.
Amber is an authentic, inclusive, and creative storyteller with a high EQ in cultivating trust and building connections among a diverse and growing association. Over the next several months, be on the lookout, as she will be tracking down stories to celebrate.
