SCORING & INTERPRETATION
40–50: Strong Governance Readiness: You have a high level of familiarity with governance expectations, strategic roles, and fiduciary responsibilities. You are well-positioned to contribute confidently in discussions and decision-making.
30–39: Solid Understanding With Targeted Growth Areas: You demonstrate a good grasp of governance fundamentals, with a few areas that may benefit from additional clarification or experience. Your overall readiness is strong.
20–29: Emerging Governance Familiarity: You show foundational awareness of governance concepts but may still be building confidence in key areas such as strategic roles, fiduciary duties, or board–head partnership. Continued exposure and experience will strengthen your understanding.
Below 20: Early-Stage Governance Awareness: Your responses indicate limited familiarity with governance concepts at this moment. With time, experience, and deeper engagement in board work, clarity and confidence will grow.
