Networking is just the beginning of building meaningful connections that can impact your career. This workshop will help you build authentic relationships that can lead to mentoring, job opportunities, and friendships – all of which help you get closer to your personal and professional goals. We’ll also tackle what might be holding you back from leveraging the relationships you’ve created. No one can do it alone and the right network is crucial for women to lead and succeed.

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Admitting we need help may lead to feelings of inadequacy or imposter syndrome. Alternatively, asking for help may seem like a burden rather than a relief. The more unnecessary tasks you have on your plate, the less time you have to work on achieving your goals. As a leader, holding onto too much diminishes trust in your team and robs them of the opportunity to learn. We’ll dig into the fear and worry holding you back and create a plan for you to start delegating consistently and successfully.
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Lunch
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Have you ever considered asking for a promotion or more resources for your office, then quickly talked yourself out of it? What is holding you back? Effectively advocating and negotiating could have a lasting impact on achieving your goals and improving your school’s sustainability. In this session, you’ll reflect on the barriers preventing you from asking for what you need, such as a lack of confidence, fear of rejection, or inexperience. You’ll create a plan to make your “ask,” and learn how to communicate confidently and negotiate effectively.
