Accreditation Portal: How to find a document or file that you would like to remove from the portal

  1. Login to the portal at: https://www.accportal.org/sais
  2. Under the heading of My School, click the Edit button on the accreditation most likely to have the document or file of interest. NOTE: It’s likely that this accreditation is an older record which has since been “locked” (submitted). In that instance, please email clay@sais.org to have the accreditation temporarily unlocked.
  3. You should arrive at a screen with a blue/orange banner near the top. Use the Print My Snapshot & Standards button to view your report (see screenshot #1 below)
  1. When the report opens, use the “Find” feature in your browser (e.g., Ctrl+F or Command-F on a Mac), and search for one of the words in the filename
  2. When you determine what section or standard was involved, you can close the browser tab that just opened and return to the previous screen in the portal, and use the Open button to view that section/standard.
  1. For example, if the report showed that the file of interest was part of “Standard 2: Governance & Leadership”, click to open (view) that section.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the file library that was associated with that section, and use the red “x” button to delete any files you wish to remove (see screenshot #3).

The file is immediately erased. Please note there is no undelete function.

NOTE: If your old accreditation needed to be temporarily unlocked, please let us know when you’re done so we can re-lock it from further changes.
