The Summer Conference is for all school leaders who focus on the well-being of the school community. It also encompasses three former separate SAIS events: Dean of Students Symposium, Independent School Counselors Conference, and Division Heads Conference. Specific programming for those and other roles will be included. This year’s sessions include fostering a culture of belonging, partnering with families, and recruiting and retaining talented teachers. Connect with regional peers, learn from experts, and develop new skills as you focus on the environment, experiences, and programming vital to the growth of your school.

The SAIS Institute for New Teachers provides guidance, support, and the opportunity to practice planning and instructional skills with a small peer group led by an experienced independent school educator. The institute is for teachers in their first three years of teaching at an independent school.
