Larry McLemoreHead of School, Saint James School
Larry McLemore earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and history from Huntingdon College, graduating summa cum laude. He went on to earn a master’s degree in education from Vanderbilt University in 2006 and a Ph.D. in history from Auburn University in 2012. In 2007, Larry joined the staff of Saint James School as a high school history teacher and coach. Prior to beginning his service as head of school in 2015, Larry served Saint James as dean of student programs and high school counselor, and as the director of advancement, while continuing to teach history. Larry has also taught at the college level. He has been actively involved in various boards and community organizations.
