Discipline and Honor Committees

SAIS surveyed member schools to collect information on the structure, membership, and trends of discipline and honor committees. This information will be presented with further detail and discussions during the 2022 SAIS Annual Conference.

For the purpose of this survey, we describe a discipline committee as those which deal with the most flagrant or serious violations of school rules, determine consequences, and are often administrator led. Alternately, we describe an honor council as those which deal with academic dishonesty and integrity, may make discipline recommendations, and can be student led.
